Kyle Lagunas's Session:
11:15 am - 12:15 pm - Panel Discussion: Quantifying the Impact of Modern Recruiting Strategies
As the Research Manager, Emerging Trends & Technologies in Taletn Acquisition at IDC, Kyle’s time is dedicated to navigating the rapidly changing waters of human capital management — with a focus on talent acquisition. He’s passionate about the things driving this industry forward — from proactive elements like recruitment marketing, employer brand management, and candidate experience management to next practices like high-powered CRM, behavioral assessments, and data-driven recruiting. His goal is to set organizations free from traditional reactionary recruiting models by providing compelling research and actionable insights for recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders.
Leveraging a background in marketing and operations, Kyle has spent years offering a fresh take on the role of technology as part of an integrated talent strategy. As the Talent Acquisition Analyst at Brandon Hall Group, he launched their talent acquisition practice and led major research projects on the state of talent acquisition, high-performance recruitment marketing, and onboarding as a driver of employee engagement. As the HR Analyst at Software Advice — a Gartner company — he supported the newly-created lead generation practice for HR technology vendors through a successful brand and content marketing strategy.
His work has taken him all the way to Mumbai where he gave the opening keynote for SHRM India’s first ever HR Technology conference, but he calls Austin, TX home. He regularly blogs on LinkedIn, is an irregular contributor on The SHRM Blog, and his work has been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, Business Insider, Information Weekly, and HRO Today.
